KATHRYN
LANIGAN
PRUITT
Kathryn Lanigan Pruitt is Board Certified in Family
Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and was selected
for inclusion in Texas Monthly Super Lawyers in the area of family
law in 2011. She has tried family law cases before judges and
juries, including divorce, property division, custody, custody
modification, termination and enforcement cases. She also prepares
premarital and postmarital agreements. Kathryn has written family
law articles for the State Bar of Texas, Dallas Bar Association,
and UT CLE.
Kathryn's clients have commended her as "awesome
in the courtroom" and "well-prepared." She also
brings a wide range of experience to her family law practice.
After graduating cum laude from South Texas College of
Law in 1993 and serving as an Articles Editor on the Law Review,
she worked as the law clerk to U.S. Magistrate Judge Nancy Johnson.
Subsequently, she prosecuted and defended lawsuits arising from
injuries to persons and property for several years before focusing
her practice in the area of family law.

Law Clerk - Erin E. Chancellor

Erin is currently in her second year
at SMU Dedman School of Law, and has worked as a law clerk at
the firm since August of 2011. Erin discovered her passion for
family law while working for a small firm in Midland, Texas, and
pursued that passion last summer while interning for Judge Dennise
Garcia in the 303rd Family District Court in Dallas County. Erin
is a staff editor for the SMU Law Science and Technology Law Review.
She is active in DAYL, where she serves as the 2010-2011 SMU Law
Student Representative. She is also the secretary of the Longhorn
Bar Association.
Erin was born and raised in Midland,
Texas, and she graduated from the University of Texas-Austin in
2007. She worked in entertainment in Los Angeles for several years
before deciding to attend law school.
